​The Caravan Gift Shop first opened it's doors in 1927 and has been a fixture in the Ann Arbor community ever since. Yes, that's right the Caravan Gift Shop is 95 years young. We're located in the historic Nickels Arcade right off of the University of Michigan's vibrant Central Campus in Ann Arbor, Michigan. We're proud to say the Caravan Gift Shop is one of the oldest retail businesses in Ann Arbor! The Caravan is home to over 100 very talented artists from the United States and around the world as well. We take pride in creating a place that brings smiles to people's faces and a place that is both quant and welcoming to everyone!

 

Rhonda Gilpin took ownership of the Caravan Gift Shop in1992. The Caravan has always held a special place in Rhonda's heart, as it's the business her parents worked at when she was a kid, her first job in high school and now a place where her own children and grandchildren have grown up.
